Greensboro’s Syngenta Owned By ChemChina

In light of recent concerns about the amount of foreign-owned agricultural land in North Carolina, it is worth noting the risk extends beyond mere land: Syngenta Seeds, LLC, one of the world's largest developers and producers of seeds for farmers and based in Greensboro, was bought in 2017 by ChemChina as part of a merger.

Budd, Bishop cry foul over White House statement on border security

The White House announced that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) would soon have to cut back operations at the southern border due to the Senate’s failure to pass a border bill, which also included billions in aid to Israel, Taiwan, and Ukraine, and that has many including U.S. Sen. Ted Budd, R-NC and Congressman Dan Bishop, R, NC-08 crying foul.
