Lindberg creditor drops state Supreme Court appeal while pursuing ‘dissipating assets’

An insurance company attempting to collect $600 million from former top North Carolina political donor Greg Lindberg is withdrawing its appeal to North Carolina’s highest court. The company said in a court filing Tuesday that its latest legal action is tied to efforts to block Lindberg from “dissipating assets.”
